Japan’s first floating hotel that protects guests against tsunamis was launched in the Dutch-themed Huis Ten Bosch theme-park in Nagasaki on Monday. The spherical capsule pod hotel room can be towed anywhere on the water. People living in the floating hotels can simply hire a towboat overnight and wake up on a different beach. Equipped with house beds, showers and toilets, each pod is designed to accomodate 2 to 3 people. And if the waves pick up, the floating hotel is designed to simply float right over them
